get some new seats and ditch the power stuff, that's usually the most efficient way.

It'd be hard to loose any weight out of Z06. The headers replacing the iron manifolds might be the only obvious one. The stock wheels are really light.

My car at HRP with me in it, and 1/8 tank weighs 3250. 3021 without me in it. There really is very little you can take out of these cars.

I thought I was the only one who had a 2994 Vette...they already out for the masses?! I knew that salesman was lying...

Take a huge King Kong size **** before heading out to the track!

Lots of fiber and Ex-Lax.

If you really want to get serious and take out weight, you will lose funtionality of the car.
For example, stereo and airconditiong are two things you can take out but then you won't really like driving the car.

There is a list of weight somewhere I can try and find for you for items you can consider.

I replaced the carpet and pad in mine with a superlightweight material I got from an Autoparts store. Saved me almost 40# and still looks factory. Car might be louder now then before but damned if I could tell it's already obnixious (in a good way)
