The stock '02 C5 cam specs are: .479 intake / .467 exh., if you divide that by 1.7 (stock rocker ratio) it gives you a base lift of .282 / .275. You then multiply those base numbers by the new ratio (in this case 1.8) and you get ~.508 / .495 ...and in this case, it puts you at numbers for the stock 2000 C5 cam, which should be safe depending on the current miles on your car.
Just to be safe, you could always pick up a set of yellow GM LS6 springs direct from GM for less than $80. I've seen them some places for under $60.

It's possible. We gained 13rwhp from a simple bolt-on Halltech CAI and 18rwhp from a RAPTOR CAI...why not 25 from a rocker swap?
A similar example is the LS1 motor to the LS6 motor...the only main power making differences between the two, realistically, is the cam and heads. How much more power does the LS6 make versus the LS1?
With a good tune and almost 25 thousandths increase in lift, I would say 20-25rwhp is possible.
