getting LT's, but..
however, instead of the cam I'm wondering if doing a CAI and FAST intake might be a better option at this time, and save doing the cam when I can do the heads at the same time.
either way I go, the car will be getting a dyno tune at the same time.
I was hoping to put down around 400rwhp with one or the other setups.
is 400rwhp a realistic goal with just boltons?
opinions??

Cold air, long tubes, cam.
WIth THAT cam, you'll have to go up to the 921 springs, New pushrods, etc.
Cam will make nice power man. I've seen 437 rwhp on an 02 Z06 with vararam, LG's and GHL catback and the GX series cam.
The install isn't so bad if you plan on doing it yourself. Feel free to PM me if its something you plan on doing at home.
I don't agree with the cost of cold airs. I know they see gains on the street, but on the dyno I saw absolutely nothing with back to back pulls. Spend $400 someplace else on a C6. C5s are different stories.
I am sure you will be happier with that cam especially the first time your crank the car
P.S. if you are trying to decide between the g5x3 or four, just a little thing, he regretted not going with the g5x4 cam from the beginning, just if that might help

I was leaning towards the cam/springs/pushrods with the headers. prolly do the 160 stat also.
with what you've said, that's prolly what I'll do.
I've seen a CAI mod on the C6 that involves just turning the whole filter assembly 180* and cutting some holes in the shroud that makes for a pretty efficient CAI.
I'll have to do a little more research on it before I put the buzzsaw to my shroud tho.
