Default Huge Rim Dilema

Okay guys here is the situation, I bought my car with a cheap set of chrome rims that have a few bends to the lip and where the chrome is flaking off. Turns out these things are really friggin expensive new, (take a look)

http://www.ddswholesale.com/catalog/...els/Album4.htm

My question is should I have these things fixed, at $350 a pop with a repair time of 8 weeks, or do I sell them and pick up a set of the C6 Z06 chrome rims? What do you think?? If I do go the route of getting the c6's would anyone be interested in the Maya's?? I'll try and get some pics over the weekend.

Post pics of your damage, I might be able to get you hooked up. I know a guy that sells machines to all the wheel manufacturers. He was going to build me a set of custom wheels for my car. My wife just had a blow out in her Mercedes and bent one of her wheels and he's going to fix it for us. THey sell the machines to do this.

I'll try and get some pics of them over the weekend, the only part that needs to have the chrome fixed is the outside lip.

I've spoken with "wheels of America" and can have them fixed for $1400, if they are worth as much as they are going for new, they must be worth at least $1500 (?) in their current condition.

Good luck man! Either way, you're gonna be throwing out some coin...or have a long wait. Sucks either way.

Hey Buddy -- CCW all the way man! My CCWs are *tanks*. They've survived the Manhattan streets and potholes very well.

Whatever you do, don't get the Pirellis as tires. They are absolute crap.

PS - Are you Leonel or Shermon by chance?

Yah I do. I live on 108th St and Bway.

Steve -- still want the seats? As soon as it gets a little warmer I want to put the Caravaggio's in. Saw the pix of your install, wow! When are you going to do my 402?
