Sure why not. I was thinking about upgrading to the new z06 or a viper. But a camaroSS would defiently be a step in the right direction as well.

My daily driver is an LT1. I've been thinking about getting a new dd, maybe an '01-'02 C5 targa. The old LT1 is so reliable though, there's really no reason to park it.

To the original poster. You've got a nice car and plenty of people would commit a felony to own it.

You should sell it outright and finance the c5 if you can't make up the rest. Don't trade.

As is the case with 90% of the other vette owners here, I sold my f-body to get my corvette. You should do the same. The only thing you'll regret is not having back seats.

Sold my 96' LT1 Z28 for my Vette! Let me tell you that if you do get a Vette after having an Fbody you will never look back! I occationaly take out my bros Formula and its just not the same. When you get into the Corvette you can instantly tell without even driving it that GM put a lot more time and engenering into the Y body.
