spark plugs

i have tr55s gapped at .050, will i notice any difference if i gapped them down between .040-.045?

I think those come pre-gapped and could be damaged if you try to adjust them...If they are the iridiums

If you're going to run the gap that low, you should go with the TR5s. They are the same heat range but come from the factory at a gap of .039, while the TR55s come at .059. NGK recommends only adjusting the preset gap by plus or minus ten thou, so you'd be out of their recommended range if you gapped the TR55 that low. Besides, you don't need to go lower than .050 unless you're running nitrous or forced induction. It won't hurt anything to go that low, it's just uneccessary that's all.
