Im figuring that if I do end up wanting a vette again Ill just buy a 1997 C5 with 90 K miles on it for 17 grand for it and use it as a daily driver and track day car.

 

Seriously, swap those gears out with a set of 3:$2s or 3:73s and see what that car does...

 

The vette has always been a icon, A Viper is just a wannabe, just trying to steal a little market share, of which G.M. has dominated for over half a century. Aways stick with the original, if you don't get it ( the concept, not the viper) you should never have owned a vette in the first place.

 

My thoughts exactly....
