ahh,..TB may end up helping out some. You can even port yours. I wouldn't change the MAF though.

We changed three maf's on the dyno. Ls6, CTS-V ls6(screened), and a stock one with composite ends. The one with the screen worked out the best for my car.

so the stock MAF worked the best?

What intake do you have now? I would leave the stock MAF in for sure, aftermarket MAFs tend to turn into a waste vice any worthwild gains.

Maybe a FAST 90/90 with the FAST TB, but that is some bank right there.

I agree with V. I also saw first hand my stock MAF worked best on my car also.

There is a whole list of things to do to increase airflow, and none of it is cheap from now on. I also agree about the stock MAF it can support 650hp. You did the first thing, a cam. Now you need to look at some heads. I would buy the LSX 90 and LS2/LS7 90mm throttlebody soon after. Are you running longtubes?

well i wasn't trying to get that serious about a TB, i was thinking of just maybe a ported one because i think that the FAST 90/90 combo would be overkill for my cam only 346cid C5. what can be potentially gained from a fast 90/90 vs just a ported TB?

yes i do i have longtubes.

I was saying heads would be a good choice for your next mod, then a FAST 90/90 combo. If you spend say $350 on a throttlebody you would ultimately end up selling, or tossing it if you wanted to go with the FAST intake later, because the throttlebody will not fit the LSX. If you are looking for more air, go with a higher ratio roller rocker. You would gain additional lift.

FAST 90/LS2 TB combo or throw on a 100 shot. The FAST TB is junk.
