Sam is that how big an Xpipe is for a stock manifold car? Dang.
Yes sir. the bottom half of that is what all the x-pipes look like. The top half is stock headers to that x. Bassani is the only one i know that makes one to eliminate the cats.

Congrats John! As far as cold air kits go, I picked up 3mph on my trap speed with the Vararam, it definitely works!

Congrats!!! Why not just add a Procharger and forget all the other bolt-ons?

It would suck having part owner of the LS1 community's best performance website get raped on a race...

I don't know much about the XXL Raptor. I hear the Vararam is a consistent 3-4 mph.

We have done side by side testing on the dyno and on the track with Vararam vs the Raptor. The Raptor added more HP and Torque on the dyno and gave better numbers on the track. The gain we saw with the Vararam only 11hp on the dyno we have seen gains up to 18.6 hp on the dyno with the Raptor XXL. As far as the track we picked up 2 tenths with the vararam but then lost it after we tuned it. When we replaced the Vararam with the Raptor with the same tune in the car and after an hour and a half to take it off and letting the temp raise another 10 degrees we still ran .55 seconds faster. More HP on the dyno and better results at the track with our application and its cheaper and faster to install.

All you need to know: RAPTOR XXL - big, beautiful, inexpensive, easy to install and flows more air than the Vara.

Vara - expensive, must have tons of patience to install, pain in the butt to install, doesn't flow as much air.

I bet he knows what 500rwhp feels like considering he owns a 9 second car with 140+ trap speeds.

I do agree on going for the boost with this street car. It's fitting of who owns it.

Haha absolutely no forced induction will go on this car. I just spent two years not driving an LS1 every day. Now I'm taking the long way to go everywhere. Finally starting to open 'er up and the car has excellent upper rpm exceleration...

Big difference 'tween this Z06 and my Formula is that this Z06 won't hook whatsoever on the stock tires. I'm sure with 500rhwp the car is a handle and a deathtrap.

The formula will come out running a 88mm turbo and a street tune soon. I'll keep that car on a big drag radial and hopefully run 8's first time out.

Any pics of the XXL Raptor air setup?
