Default Never a dull moment.

Not quite sure what the deal is but, after 27 years of life, I realize that i'm good at breaking things. Atleast with cars that is. My roster goes something like this:

11yrs old. Go-kart... blew it up.

13yrs old. KX 80. First day, blew it up.(wot blasts in 6th gear didn't help).

16yrs old. 88 GT mustang. 3 world class T-5's.

19yrs old. 97 Cobra mustang. 3 T-45's, 2 rearends, and 6 long blocks.

20yrs old. 98 Camaro. Friends car. Spun bearing. Not really my fault.

20yrs old. 02 Z06. Cousins car, brand new. T-56.

23yrs old. 00 R1. My fault completely. 2 accidents. 1 resulting in a heli ride

26yrs old. 00 Corvette. Piece of **** clutch/pressure plate blew apart. Thank you SPEC.

....which would bring me to last night.

I was in second....bout to race a skline powered 240... and stabbed it...on spray. For a split second it felt strong....then BOOM. Major nitrous backfire. It was a pretty crazy site to see.

The wilson manifold is split in on the top and bottom. Looks all kinds of F'd up. But whatever. I,...we pulled over. Irionicly, my friend , who also had his spec clutch explode was the person in the car with me.

Blew the airbridge apart...split in two. Kinda funny looking. And again, the fast has two splits.

Not to worry,..cause I was able to nurse it home, with no MAF,...and in reduced engine power....cruisng at 2000rpm. SO, I was actually able to hit 60 on the way home.

...and 80mph this morning, because I came to work here, on a sunday, to put the BACKUP FAST 90 on it. The broken piece is off....just takeing a short break to type this bullshit.

Anyways...I should be back up in an hour or soo... I am kinda tired. I must really love this **** or something. jeez.

Peace out ya'll.

Oh, and thanks to the 15 or so friends that came to meet me n the side of the road. That was cool of you.

Ok...car fires up no problem. Sounds strong.

Now I'm trying to get the front of the hood to fit flush with the front bumper. Since the blast pushed it up a little. No damage, just buldged it out. Pain in the *** to get it to line up right, especially by yourself.

Did you have the burst panel installed?

They will be this week, before I sray it again.

I know I did it right after my streetbike accident. Probably within the first week or two of him owning it. He was cool about it.

Lol. I used to work for a general contractor when I first moved down here...he let me break down walls.

That was actually kinda fun. Until the clean up part came around.

My parents are proud.

Thanks man. I learn something new everyday. Some of these guys I work with, have soo much knowledge...it's remarkable. Makes me realize, how much I have to learn. I've come a LONG LONG way regarding cars, and working on them but, i'm trying to learn more.

One thing I have learned, there is the right tool, for the job. So, needless to say, I know have two tool box's..and two push carts of tools. Helps, alot.

Yeah, we where on the side of the road for about 3 minutes by ourselves, then a posse showed up, carrying cars of people. I had already started to try and see what happened... so we knew when people got there what happened. I quickly re-tuned it....removed any loose debree, and threw it in the trunk. Then, friends moved the cars in front of me, so incase it did start, I could take off right away. I carry a fireextinguisher, which I had in hand in case anything freak happened. It didn't... I was nurseing it home in a matter of fifteen minutes, as the idea of the flatbad is out of the question, since my car is slammed to the tarmac with the coilovers.

The wilson, I was gonna try and epoxy it.... and then, I don't know.

Thanks...J

Cars, especially fast cars or heavily modded cars are the worst investment. Glad you're okay though and nothing bad happened.

On another note, I was going to say the same thing - you drove an '02 Z06 six years ago? Just messin' witch' cha' !

Hell I dunno.. I just know it was right after my accident. Whenever it was. Might explain why I have the wrong date. I think my medicine went something like...morphine shot...then oxycoddon(oxycotton, whatever), then the pills got where weaker and weaker.

lol...yeahg, I guess had I had the date year messed up. I know it happened when on thanks giving morning,...and I was in the hospitol for 5 days....then my cousin came to visit me on my second day,...and then he had the car there at the hospitol.

You big bunch of homo's.

DAMN dude.. That sucks. I know what you mean.

One of my best friends POP'ed his motor the other day racing a bike, while on the juice. cammed 2001 C5, it shattered the #7 piston. A Chunk of the ring land broke off. We pulled it apart yesterday. He's going bigger and badder.. REALLY soon!!. Forged 347, heads, and a TRex.. hehe.. and even more juice..hehe

Your horror stories on the SPEC's made us rip ours out for RAM HD's... and been more than happy now. Didn't want to lose our feet... This wont keep us away from the juice though.. lol

Take care..
Steve
