1. weak *** rearends (worse than f-body)
2. no popping wheelies at the track
3. paying that car note each month (mine is $960)
4. throttle by wire sucks compared to a mechanical cable linkage

Worst parts??

Trying to keep it clean all the time (those of us who work/commute don't have a ton of extra time to detail the car).

I'll explain...

Are you guys referring to 1k ehxuat systems and 300+ air intakes, or are you guys referring to stock part replacement prices? In other words, are prices for an alternator or a/c compressor significantly more than other LSx-car parts?

EX (prices are fictional):

LS1 Fbody alternator = $150
LS1 Vette alternator = $300

Just curious...
Ryan
For some reason it was built in france i believe... and is not compatiable with any other car nor are any of the other ones interchangabel

Everyone thinking it's my dad's car or i'm some spoiled brat.... That drives me insane.... I work hard for my car... and everything else I own... I haven't recieved a dime from my parents since I was 16. (currently 20)

1. Yeah, kinda funny how weak we thought the 10 bolt was, how redicilious it was that GM would put that piece of crap behind a 300HP motor, yet it is apparently even stronger than the C6 rearends.

2. Maybe with some skinnies, a more aggressive launch, and your new rearend. Are you gonna try and find out if its possible?

3. How in the hell? Short term loan or what?

4. How so?

That's about right for a 60month, 50k loan.

5. cant get it without traction control which is the problem with my friends zo6 with a brand new 402 in it and cant even drive it yet cause he keeps getting a reduced engine power mode from the traction control is acting up.

Try getting a C1278 code then see how much you love TCS. My friends car wont go past 10% throttle without throwing this code...

There are a lot of positives... but I can think of 3 negatives right off the bat.

1. Parts are more $$$ for the same thing for an F-body.. It's pretty much the same ****, but slightly different fitment. Big deal... charge 2x as much.

2. The EBCM... it's a pesky bitch.

3. ALL the "douschebag" owners too. I have friends with vettes that are cool as ****, same with f-bodies. But you have to admit there are a ton of "tools" as well. I think the percentage is higher. I can't stand that crap. Know it alls, that know nothing and people that think a stock C5 is fast.... lol

99.88% of other corvette owners.

Old guys with gray haired mullets that drive LT1 vettes and think they are fast.

People who think I'm driving my father's car.

People who tell me that vettes are hard to afford.
