Default Help!!!

Ok guys heres the deal I have a 2000 corvette, last week the check engine light came on the car started running like ****..

So i get it scanned it said bad maf sensor so we changed it still isnt fixed. changed the TPS sensor didnt help at all. I am hopeing someone here can help me..

The car idles fine and revs fine while in neutral. When you put it in gear and go to take off it bogs and almost stalls. If you have it over 3,000 rpms the car will run fine..

I dont have a clue anymore whats wrong.. any ideas?? thanks Louie

The scan didn't say, "bad maf sensor" it had to say something else...check engine lights don't tell you what component to replace, they tell you which system to trouble shoot. Tell us exactly what the codes were.

Check all the connections on the air path from the filter to the front opening of the intake manifold. An air leak can give those symptoms.

Yep, I had the same problem with my 'zip tie mod' coming loose where the funky rubber tubing mates the filter housing.

Also as already mentioned check the codes: Hold 'Options' & hit 'Fuel' button 4 times fast to access and write-down codes if any.

Not an air leak. I've not seen those codes on my 01 or 02 Z.

Before starting to change parts, I'd suggest reviewing the Service Manual refs for those codes.

Hmmm not sure about those.
Have you taken apart the intake assembly and checked all the connections and the throttle body?
