corvette SS Ok this should be interesting. Im not trying to start a fight, just wanna hear some vette owner ideas on the subject. Would vette owners like to have the Corvette SS as elite model over Z06 someday or should they stick what it is?

I really don't care for the SS added to corvette... I think they should offer a special Z06 with a blower.. an LS9 perhaps.. LoL..... I hope they do atleast would be freaking cool.. then I would have LS9vette.com..

The Corvette received the SS naming long before the Camaro
However I am not a fan of the retro naming or retro cars. The Z06 is retro too going back to the 63 Z06 but it is more in line with the Asian and European naming which would help attract more of the non traditional Corvette market.

I agree with the SS badge for non corvette gm performance cars. The ZO6 badge says it all, you got the best Corvette you are going to get, now go mod it and make it better. SS sounds good on a camaro, impala, but not on the Corvette. JMO

Look back at 2002 when they started giving away their '01 Z06's because they were "385HP" instead of the better "405HP". I remember seeing hundreds of '01 Z owners dump their cars at low prices to buy an '02.
I can't wait to buy a C6 Z06 for $35K

I too would love to see a C6 ZO6 for 35 grand. I'd borrow from my retirement and buy 2. One to mod and race, and one to drive all summer. Holy high car insurance batman.
