Default Finally bought a Z06

I got an offer I couldn't refuse on my camaro so I sold it on Saturday. I found this car for sale and since the price was right I went ahead and picked it up. Words can't describe how much I love this car already.

Now I understand why everyone likes them so much more than F-bodies

So far I have found that PSJ's reviews of the Z06 has pretty much been dead on as far as accuracy is concerned. I really think the car needs more mid-range power and I will be purchasing a trunk partition really soon to cut down on the road noise. I picked up a shifter for it yesterday afternoon because the stock shifter and shift **** are about to drive me crazy.

I have thought about it I just wasn't sure on the backspacing. I might try them just to see what it looks like.

My plan was to leave it stock but I keep seeing things I want on it

Congrats!! I Picked up my EB 03 yesterday and drove in back 500 miles from Colorado springs. I agree with you on the shifter and the need of a partion. not much support on the seats either, I'm probaly going to swap them with a sparco roadster. This car is awesome.

Nice, you can't go wrong no matter what color you get.
I had a shifter waiting for mine when I got home with it but it wasn't my fist C5 so knew how bad the truck shifter felt.
After trying several shifters I stayed with the Breathless, it has more adjust ability than any other and it just felt right.

The Fikse's won't work, the backspacing on the fronts for the f-body sets them out to where you'll look like a 4X4 with wide mudders on the Z06. Believe me I wanted my FM5's from my SS on my Z0.

Mine came with the partition and the shifter was the first thing i added! Now i'm in the process of trying to find someone that wants to trade shifters so i can see which one i like best. (I have a kirban, looking for Hurst or B&M(newer model)

I couldnt agree more!! I love my Fikse rims.

Im gonna do the partition this week. That will cut road noise to half lol. But other than that your car is SICK!! Great choice on the switch. Ever since I bought my ZO6, I have been a much happier man.

What are the sizes and backspacing of your wheels? They look really good!

I disabled skip shift and lowered the fan temps last night but haven't had much time to do any scanning to see what the tune looks like or if it needs any changes. I think once I sell my Fikse wheels I have leftover from the camaro I'm going to hold off on getting new wheels for a little bit, these look good and the tires only have 3k miles on them. Plus I am about to go do the paperwork to start having a house built so more money has to go to it first
