Chrome wheels on a (02) Z06, were they optional??
I have been looking into trading up my WS6 for a Z06 for over a year now. I have now finally found a Z06 worth trading up my WS6 for. It looks to be well taken care of and the chrome wheels really are an attention getter! My only reserve on the car IS in fact the chrome wheels. They look perfect on the Z but were they optional?
Other then the fact of possibly having aftermarket wheels the car looks great, even has the two tone black with red interior. Just for my own info what is the going rate of 02 Zs (torch red) with 23K miles?
Semper Fi,
Rob

never chrome from factory.
dealer options with chromed stocker(sent out to local chromer) or aftermarket chromies.
04 lemans z's came with polished wheels
you can check the back of the spokes for the gm stamp or ask the owner

Correct... If they are stock they will either have a SPEEDLINE or a set of numbers stamped into the inside of one of the spokes on each whell... If it has numbers they are alcoa wheels... slightly better, in strength and weight, but from what I understand were only on 01's
