This is an awesome looking kit, I might have to tear down my 408 to lower my CR and get this kit.

That's the go for sure, a set of 9:1 forged pistons and you're good to go.

A guy I know just installed this kind of kit on a C6 and finished tuning it last night he got 605rwhp/620rwtq @10.5psi out of her with a pretty safe tune. He has an auto from PA going in for one right now and another car on the way it seems to be popular.

Yeah there was a cam in it I guess, I have no specs on it. Other than that 100% stock I am pretty sure. It made 414rwhp/370rwtq with what ever Cam it has and Tune before the turbos were installed. Pretty good numbers I you ask me.

The C6 twin turbo did have a small cam, other than that is was bone stock.

Peter, I guess my main question (besides price) would be how hard is it to install for the average driver? And how much time do you think it would take? Thanks

Depends on your mechanical ability and knowledge. If you have never performed a complete intercooled twin turbo install previously (including a fuel system to support your intended HP goals) then I feel you'd be wise to have an experienced shop do the install and tuning for you. The C5 twin turbo install at a well equipped shop would take approx 4 days to install and dyno tune, if you're not experienced then you could add at least 2 days to the shop time, best guess only.

I should have the final MSRP before the end of Sept (just finalizing the last few kit details now), I think you will find the MSRP will be a pleasant surpise for a twin turbo kit which is very complete and produced from the highest grade materials.

Looks like my Incon setup (intercooler/air filter/hose routing)

I wouldn't advise anyone to install this in their garage unless they know what they're in for.

Thanks Peter, guess I need to find a shop! lol Just so my slow brain takes all this in, if I put this on my C5 I need to put in new pistons and a new cam also? Do you plan on putting out a list of everything that you need to do in addition to the install?
I believe what you have here Peter is one great looking set up. And no, after seeing all those parts installed, I know that I can't do this job! lol

From past experience I've found that some owners are very capable of performing a twin turbo install (we do provide very detailed install instrutioins), especially if they have some prior twin turbo experience, the available time and a well equipped work shop. Granted is can be time consuming though it's certainly far from being an impossible task. The C6 TT install instructions are on the link below, read these thoroughly, this should provide you with sufficient information and allow you to decide on the degree of difficulty of the install, hope that helps.
