Default Lowered the Z06

I finally got around to lowering the Vette last night. I removed the bolts and cut one layer off of the bushings front and rear. I noticed the car sat lower as soon as I took it off the jack. I'm hopeing that it will settle some more after a bit of driving.
Car already looks much better, should have done this a long time ago. No more 4x4 for me.

Yeah they deffinitely look better lowered. Make sure you go back after a few miles and measure from the ground to the frame both sides front and back to ensure you got an equal drop. Then go get it alligned.

It was a dramatic improvement when I lowered mine.
I also checked mine after I putted some miles on it then had it aligned.

The car will need to settle. Drive it around for about a week and re check ride height. Then you will need to get the car aligned.

The car has settled a bit more, I hope the front comes down just a bit more or I will have to raise the rear a bit.

Don't worry I'll just get a set of these...

yeah, we want pics!

I wish I could lower mine, but the road I'm going to be living on shortly just won't allow it. I'm dragging my exhaust in some spots at stock height

Is there a writeup for this "stock bolt" lowering? Not sure of the actual name.

I had to get a custom front spring from VBP to get my front to lower the way I wanted it to... even with the front bolt taken completly out.

I will try to get a before and after pic this weekend. The front has settled and the rear is still a bit lower. I am going to raise the rear up a tad because I don't want to go any lower up front. I still have over a half inch of bushing in the front so going lower would be no problem, I am just happy where it at.

Yeah but hillbilly girls are almost worth having a 4x4 Corvette. Have you seen Jessica Simpson lately?
