car keeps going into low power mode-help
Did it start this after the cam install? When does it going into reduced power mode? It sounds like the etc predicted airflow is high enough in the computer. I had this happen to me after I put my cam in. Its table {C6101} in efi live.

i had a few people tell me to check the TPS , which i did, but im gonna go over it again with a fine tooth comb. also someone said that air might be getting past the MAF unmetered, but how the hell is that possible?

Try to see if the throttle blade opens when the ignition is on but the motor not running. If it doesnt open it is something with the TPS or the throttle blade motor. Had the same issue and it ended up being a bad TPS. Did it all the time. My throttle blade wasnt opening at all. See what does and get back to us.

Try to find another TPS sensor to switch with and see if that works. Even though the blade is opening, the sensor might not be detecting where it is at. Try that and get back to us. Also maybe have your tuner try turning off the codes completely and see what the car does. If you think it is unmetered air, have the tuner turn the car to Speed density mode and see what happens.

Also make sure you got a good ground on your battery terminal. My car was runnin great and I disconnected the neg on the battery for 5 mins to hook up some nitrous stuff, hooked the neg back up and car kept goin into reduced engine power mode. I had to keep moving the ground on the battery till it got a good connection. I also cleaned the terminal as well to help. Once it got good contact, I tightened the hell out of the bolt.
