I think you could get pretty close - you might have to go a little bigger on the cam though. Don't forget headers and little stuff to help you along the way like a pulley, ported throttle body, etc and of course the tune would be the most important thing.

That would be pushing it depending on your idea of a mild cam. The normal bolt ons with a 224ish 228ish cam and aftermarket heads would achieve your goal with stock like drivability.

No.

You'll need a few more things...

Your gonna need a pulley,FAST 90/90, valve springs,camshaft,pushrods,fullexhaust,tuning....an d your cam...probably won't be super mild. 430 rwhp is possible on a LS6 motor, with LS6 heads. The LS1...I don't think will do it with a small camshaft.

I've seen 400rwhp with the mods you've mentioned on an LS1...cam only m6, stock heads.

Yeah I bet you will need heads and big cam. I am doing good size cam with full exhaust, pulley and air intake and am shooting for 390 rwhp. I have MN6 also.

I would think 420s are closer to the mark...

410-425 with stock heads depending on how big a cam you can live with. Buddies 99' Vette M6 with an LS6 intake, cam 232/236 .581 lift 114LSA, Kooks 1 3/4" headers and 3"xpipe no cats, Vararam intake, hand polished throttle body and still had stock cat back exhaust made 413rwhp on a 90 deg day. Heads and a bigger cam will get you 430-450rwhp...

I have a Z06 so I have the LS6 heads and intake already. I did a Futral F14 cam (232/234), LGM headers, Halltech air cleaner, B&B bullets, underdrive pulley, ported TB and had it all tuned. The car put down 423 rwhp and 408 rwtq. I recently replace my LS6 heads with Dart 205s and went up to 452 rwhp 423 rwtq. I think my next mod will be a Fast 90/90 setup and possibly an electric water pump to gain the last few ponies.

im hoping i can get somewhere around there before the spray...
i think the thing i love the most about these cars is the daily drivablity you can keep while still being fast as hell

Yes.. Mods are in sig & it dynoed 430 (429.6) in a 110 degree dyno room. I have seen some with similar mods you mentioned, the stock TI exhaust and no pulley dyno just over 420. I have not seen to many results with the Honker, but then again, I haven't really searched. I'm happy with the Halltech I have.
