Also, 2000 and earlier models had a problem with battery corrosion leaking onto the computer. Later models had a shield, which you can and should buy if you get an early year.

Man I want one. Once my wedding is paid for and over with I will be hunting hard. In about a year's time. Even then I will be looking in the $20,000 and under range...so I will have to settle for a few miles. Buts that fine as I plan to drive it anyway. Thanx for the help.

You can also get a yellow or redtop battery. Hell get the color that best matches the cars exterior. Just don't get another AC Delco battery.
