Yeah, they were a bEOOOOTCH to put on in your garage with the tools that we had......atleast the front ones.

The backs, maybe we'll tackle them tommorrow. I'll grab my tools this time.

Anyways man,..looks like the bullets showing some signs of life again.

Soon bro...soon.

Way to represent the C6. That was great driving...more of an *** whoopin' than I thought with just full exhaust! Looks like you launched great and really got out on him.

Hell yeah!

thank you I used to launch it at around 2300 rpms but now it is much harder to do so due to the somewhat of power increase that the car has.

Belive it or not, the Cobra wasn't stock. A tire, pully, cold air, catback, and a tune where the actual mods of the car at that time.

The vette,....was on a street tire, not a drag radial. Also, they where michelin pilot's...and anyone thats ever driven a car with decent power, with those tires, knows they are not for hooking. It takes some skill to walk this thing outta the whole the way he did. VERY nice job on the street. Very nice. That video right there is simply showing off a properly packged sports car....in the hands of a skilled pilot.

Again,.....nice job pimpin. That car is a legend around here.....and very much missed.

I'll try to find more video's of the bullet.

Fantastic performance by the Corvette btw. This video kinda makes me wonder why 03/04 Cobra guys talk so much **** to the Corvette guys. Anyway, nice video.
Because my cobra was $35K brandnew, and with $1000 in mods my car makes 442rwhp/460rwtq. Thats why. Its the power bargin of the century. If I bought a cobra, then used the rest of the cash I saved on the vette to mod the cobra....game over. Our aftermarket blowers are $3k and our motors on safe tunes are stable to over 800hp. I have people I met at local get togethers that run Hellion TT setups on an aftermarket fuel system and the STOCK motor...meaning no internal mods. As long as the tune is safe, and you are running 103 octane, you can make some pretty impressive numbers.

My cobra is in for a port job, a bigger crank pulley and a retune. Add that to my current mods which are a smaller blower pulley, CAI and welded in SLP resonators I will see 500rwhp/500rwtq. Thats why. Not starting flames here, I love the vettes forsure and would love an 04 ZO6, but I would not sell the snake to get it. Bottom line, if you have the cash for the C6 and mods...you will have a beast on your hands. If you are lower budget minded, then the cobra and less than $3k in mods will net you one of the meanest street cars out there. Peace to GM and Ford lovers alike. Remember, I am posting here because I love the GM and Pontiac products too. I almost bought an 06 GTO before the cobra.

And the great thing about it all is that you can pick up an 03/04 Cobra or a C5 Z06 for around the same price now. Now that they are a few years old, these cars are becoming somewhat "affordable."
