Unhappy Could my Predator be the problem??

I just reprogrammed my new tire size with my Predator. After about 1 hour, my traction control light is going on and off in rapid succession. I hit the reset and then my hatch began to actuate rapidly. I disconnected the battery, waited a few minutes and reconnected. It seemed fine. I went to start the car next day, and the service column lock code is flashing. When I put the car in gear (automatic) it immediatly died. I had to have it towed to the stealership. Could reprogramming cause this kind of glitch? Has anyone had a similar problem. Shoud I begin to add a Prozac to the gas tank? Thanks Mike F.

Mike, what revision do you have on your Predator? If you ever get a strange problem like that, you should flash it back to stock right away! Sounds like more than a Predator problem, as far as I can tell. I truly hope you flashed the car back to stock before you towed it to the dealership. Call Diablosports tech support first thing Mon, 561-908-0040, ask for Mike.

Yep, I did flash it back to stock. It was actually the first thing I did. I will call Mike at Predator on Monday. Thanks for your help. Mike Fesi

Hey Mike...the problems your having....are no doubt weird.

....but to me...it sounds more like a BCM(body control module) issue.

....or atleast one of your issues.

SMart choice by restoring your stock tune. Did anything change then? I asssume the same happened, since you had it towed anyways.

Give mike@ diablosport a shout tomorrow...i'm sure he'll take care of you.

Hope it works out.

Not sure about the re-programming fixing the traction control, and hatch release. I had done the reprogram the night before and it was fine. I will post the fix to the problem when the dealer finishes the work. Hopefully some time this week. Thanks for your reply. Mike Fesi

The dealership just called with their diagnosis. It was the column lock motor. At least that was the preliminary finding. More when I have it. MTF

Just got the car back today. They replaced the Steering Lock Motor, the BCM (you guys who replied nailed this one) There is also an entry on my bill where they re-programmed my gas guage. I was getting the empty signal when I was full. Seems there is a service bulliten #1351974 that covers the gas guage fault . Mike F.

Well i'll be a SOB!

I've had bcm issues on my old vette...and about a million customers car. Mike, had quite a weird one himself a while back on his on LSX. The trunk button gave it away on your car. It's a WTF kind of a moment.

lol.

My gas gauge has been acting all weird lately....all look into the bulletin..and reflash mine tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip man.

note to self...check for bulletins more often. Could save some time, and money.

Glad your problem is solved.
