c6 shift **** on a c5

Does the stock c6 shift **** fit onto a c5? i have heard they have to me modified, does anyone know what has to be done to them or will they fit right on, it is going to go on a b&m precision on an 02z06

They aren't threaded and there is a little bolt hole on one side that would need cut off.

ok, i am just trying to figure out if i am going to buy a stock one and do it myself or buy one that is already ready for it. i can get a stock one for 55 bucks or one that is ready for around 80.

I ordered the c6 shift **** from GS Creations on eBay. The quality is very good, the color matches, and the it screws onto the existing C5 shift lever. GS modified it so it would fit perfectly. Am happy with the product.

Please throw me a link or # to where i can buy the c6 shifter for that much. I want to sell my B&M shifter and put that on. supposedly alot smoother shifting for drag racing etc.

Anyone have opinions of theres on a c5????
