The wheels look great, for sure. However, I don't think they'd be a good move until you were in competition for every last .05.

I disagree completely. The way my vette sits right now...nothing would give me more ET. I could drop at least 1 second in the 1/4 mile if the tranny would hold.
The weight savings alone is a couple tenths.

Do you know what its like to launch a car with run-flats? Like driving on ICE.

I don't understand. Nothing would give you more ET? If your tranny worked properly you could gain a full second?

Not trying to put words in your mouth, but aren't you are saying tires and a transmission fix would be much help alot more than lightweight wheels? You are making my point .

I think pretty much ALL drag wheels look ugly as FAWK, but for drag wheels I guess those aren't TOO bad. I just much prefer the way a 18 or 19" street rim and low profile tire fills up the wheel well. Now before I get flamed, I FULLy understand the benefits and uses of one another.....just stating my opinion.

Ryan, when you launch an A4 car and especially an A4 with twin turbos spooled pushing you through the lights...the tranny will be the first thing to go...trust me. The reason I dont have them is because i dont know if i could control myself..

Sam: Enjoy the car on the street and keep it in one piece for now . I do understand driveline problems . That is all beside the point though. Those wheels still look dang tough!
