In stock trim you shouldn't break anything on the C5 Z. What are your plans for the car? Drag, track days, or just a daily driver? Here are a couple of minor things that may go wrong. Fuel gauge won't work, seat rocking while driving, colum lock on the steering wheel, ect..

get a dte strut brace, left output shaft and clutch and you shouldn't have to worry about anything other then the engine.

Drivetrain depending on what you do with it. That has been the weak part on my FRC. Everything else is holding up like a champ.

The Driver is the weakest link in a stock C5 Z06.

Here's great advice: If you ever feel wheel hop, lay OUT of the throttle.

That's a whole new game. Hang around the F/I section. A DTE brace and output shaft will be the least or your problems. There are some sick turbo kits on the market right now

The Z06 C/R is high, so it doesn't agree with boost all that well. I say 8# will be your max but that still nets 575-600rwhp since your heads are decent.

Other than that it's the rear end that needs to be tended to. I'm still on the stock rear but I'm aware I'm pushing my luck.

If you pop for a Kenne Bell twin screw, you're gonna bust every single bolt on that car. You'll fry the clutch, destroy the syncros, bust the half shafts, collapse your ringlands and suck every last Franklin out of your bank account.

What else have you got on your mind aside from forced induction?

The number one weak link on any M6 C5 is the dreaded column lock...Get the latest recall done, it eliminates it altogether...
