And the A6 can supposedly handle more torque than the A4. No worries here.

I think a couple of guys have gotten stock A6 transmissions into the high 11s with no problems so far.

Nice times man. I like the 60' time with the stock tires.
..and there's no doubt Atco>Etown. Etown's facilities are nice but that's about it IMO. I grew up around Atco so I feel at home with the rednecks that go there. Etown has WAY too many ricers and wanna-be thugged out 'tards from NY and north jersey. No thanks. I'll stick to Atco.

This trans is pretty strong I think, it can stand up to what I'm doing to it and even a lot further I'm sure...contrary to popular belief, GM does know their stuff man.
A few have gone 11s yes and are holding fine.

I hit the 12.2s with a vengeance almost seeing the 12.1s last Saturday.
Ran a best of 12.21@115.45 with a best trap of 115.91 (please don't ask me where those 115s came from, I would've been smiling like this all the way home if I'd just scratched into the 114s LOL but almost 116! )

Now, if you happen to find a "perfect/can't be beat" air day at E-town, when they have either prepped the track just for you, or prepped it for 7-8 sec. Pro Mod cars running just before you do, then you might just beat Atco's launch pad (GOOD LUCK finding this, you have a better chance of hitting the Mega lottery!!!!!).
Besides there are much fewer (although still some) rice-a-jabronies clogging up the staging lanes and breaking/grenading/oiling down the track, forcing lenghty cleanups, at Atco vs. E-town. They seem to swarm to E-town's test & tune/street nights like roaches to rotting, stinking garbage.

I've also noticed that the guys that come up from Maryland find that their tracks like Cecil or MIR are just as good if not better than atco. Although we have great tracks here they are not the best.
Congrats again Marc!

I do believe that under absolutely 100% ideal conditions, and a few more break in miles, that this car will run 12.1s, but it's just a matter of whether or not Marc will change it before he gets the chance to run under those kinds of conditions. When were you planning on making those changes to it Marc? Although, FWIW, with TM deleted and a colder thermostat/fan module, I would still consider the car to be stock. Not showroom/bone stock mind you, but darn close. And I do believe with those changes you'll be almost in the 11s.

It's not quite as much fun as a manual on the street but it is a real nice bridge between a traditional auto and a manual.

That makes me feel better reading that time. I ran a disapointing 12.98@109/1.9x 60' at HRP back in August when my car was brand new.. The torque management in the computer was messing with it pretty bad out of the hole. The car was dead until about 200' out or so and then it came alive.
Better air and some break in miles and I'm hoping to drop that 12.98 quite a bit.

Hot summertime temps will definitely slow down the car a lot. For a car that is running in the 12 second range, you'll lose about one tenth of a second for every 10F temperature increase. So running on a 30F day compared to a 90F day you'll go from 12.9s to 12.3s.

As long as you can still hook up on street tires in 30F...

I hope you say it's truly bone stock.
But these days... one has got to ask. Especially after the reported "bone stock" 2004 Mustang that ran unbelieveable numbers.... just to find out later that the car had different tires, gutted cats, tune, pulley change, passenger seat - rear seat - and spare tire removed...
Of course, one can't expect any Mustang driver to be accurate with the phrase "bone stock"
