A ride in an 02 Z06
A ride in an 02 Z06 Well, I've had a ride in my first Z06, yes I too wish it was an 06, but, an 02 is pretty awesome. Story goes, my Dentist when I was a teen (sold his practice), is also a member of our church. Well, he was at a prayer meeting at my mom's house, of course she calls me to come over, that Dr. Jarvis wants me to see his car. I go and we talk. Well he takes me for a ride, and WOW!!!!!!!!!!! This thing is ridiculous, I have never been in something so fast. He put it in Competitive Driving mode, and put it in first and got it sideways. He put it sideways through the first 3 gears. Well, I was not as scared as I should have been, he's also a Stock car driver, and also raced in NASCAR years ago. It is not modded, it's BONE STOCK, doesn't have Run-flats either. As fast as this thing is, I can only imagine riding in an 06 Z06. I'd doodoo on myself. Anywho, I'm pretty stoked. I need a Turbo asap, and a new job.

IMO, the brakes are much more impressive than the power/handling. A brake stomp from 70mph is a pretty groovey feeling.

overall i love these cars. im 20 and i have a great Z06. im not real glad as of what happened and HOW i was able to get this car but i gotta say im not looking back. I hope more and more people like myself can experience these cars at a young age, actually any age. i love the corvettes and the corvette family, especially the vette wave! ahhh.

I am currently looking for 01-02 Z06 to replace the ole z28. Speaking of which do you know anyone selling one at a good price in Texas stealth? Oh and your car looks amazing, thats exactly what I want

But yeah, I love my Z. I have an 01 and I used to own an fbody. These Z06's feel so fast not only bc they have 400hp, but also because they are feathers.
Yeah they're definitely fun cars, finally picked up my dream car about a month ago and I'm loving every sec of it!

When I first picked up my Blown C5, I nearly shat myself when I merged onto the interstate at 55 mph and blew the tires away. I kept it under 80 mph the rest of the way (1000+ miles) home.

The Z06 has been the fastest and nicest car I've owned so far and is a very complete package as delivered from the factory. I daily drive mine now because it's still a new toy to me, but I'm not going to in the spring to keep the miles and wear and tear low on it, although if you wanted you could easily daily drive the car without problems. The only thing I'm going to do to mine is some better rubber, braided brake lines, and intake and maybe headers. Who knows what the future holds though.

I've had mine for a year now. All I can say is WOW. She is my baby. This week should be the MS3 and LG Longtube install / tune. Can't wait to get everything in synch and see what she's got. These new goodies with a tune should compliment the Vortex ramair and Borla stingers...hehehe
