97 vett Hi I am getting a 97 A4 Vett very soon deal is done, picking up next weekend.
I have a question, I looked at the car today and I was told it had the performance axle so I looked for the RPO sticker trying to find a G90 or G92
I couldn't find the RPO sticker.
I looked in the door jams in the glove box in the center arm rest and opened the rear hatch, but it was not in any of these places in plain veiw anyway.
The performance axle is a 3.15 and was available on A4 only wasn't it?

Thanks guys, I will do the 75mph in third gear thing and see what the revs are on my way back from getting the Vett.

Well I picked up the Vett today and I am so Pleased with it, it definanately feels like I am driving a supercar. I have some good options, active handing performance axle 3.15 gears sports seats and magnesium alloys $3,000 option & CD player.
I had 4 Camaros over the years the last being a 99 Z28 LS1 Fast as F--k but the difference is like night and day. I have had a C4 Vett aswell and this is streets better.

Thanks, it has only 54,000 miles which is low for a 97 car but I suppose it's been someones weekend toy and not used much. It drives like a new car no rattles sqeeks or anything.

I thought my 99 Z28 was nice to drive but this Vette is so much better!
