Very Newbish Question
Very Newbish Question i bought A Billet steel shift **** and i came in the other day, i went to the z and tried to take my shift off but it wouldnt budge, i twisted it counter clock ways but it did no good, i dont want to break it. so how do i take the stock zo6 shift **** off 
On the top of the shift know, there is a piece of plastic that has the shift patten on it. Take that out and there is a metal key that keeps the shift kbon from moving. You have to remove that.
