i've never been much of a fan of aftermarket racing seats... If it's for your FRC id say upgrade to some sport seats and upgrade the leather. Thats just my .02... then again i like stockish looking interiors..

What is your goal with the seat upgrade? Is it to accommodate a racing seat belt harness? If not I'd say leave it alone unless you're going from the bling factor. If you want bling check out CorvetteEssentials.com.

I am getting them because my pass seat is broken, and the motors no longer work in either seat... so i want a comfortable manual racing seat, which can accomodate a 5 point harness as I race often

Maybe wait for someone who is upgrading their's, and buy them??? I have to agree with the above posters though, I really appreciate the original style seats. How's the project coming along dawg? Haven't seen any pics of the beast in a long time...keep us posted!

I have a Sparco Evo in my z06, it is a fixed seat, and I love it. I think its as comfortable as my stock seat was, and when im road racing im not sliding around hanging on to the steering wheel, but I dont daily drive my car, when i drive it, its usually to get some.
I sure I have some pictures of my interior if you want to see.

Vette's rockin bro! I'd love to hear it with all the "goodies" you've put on. Do you have any sound bites?

How's the USMC treating you these days? No chance for anymore trips to Middle East in the near future though, right? Are your plans to stay in for another re-up, or are you gettin' out?

I just threw down for a set of Corbeau A4s. Livernois is doing a group buy. I got a MUCH better price from them than Ive seen anywhere yet, and Ive been watching A4 prices for a while.

Pakisho, can you post up pics of what they look like installed. I'd like to see what they look like while already in a vehicle.

I am not sure if I am going to re up... I still havent gotten around to the install, so I put in for leave at the end of feb and will be doing the install then as I am never ever home, in the last month I have been in 5 countries and 6 states (and I am going to the sandbox in august)

I would really like to know what you paid for those a4's and how you got them (options)

The original C5 seats unless you have the sport seats all blow.. They have absolutley no lateral support. I was able to sell my stock Z06 seats for $800 and bought some new reclining Corbeau A4"s for $900. I lost the power option, but to be honest i am the only one who drives my car and i never move my seat anyway..

Default Wow

Those are some great looking seats. I like the fact that they are not real flashy. And giving up the electric doesnt seem to be that big of a trade off.

Would love to hear your opinin on them after you have had a chance to dive around with them a little.

Anyone want some stock seats out of an 04 c5!

I'm not sure if i can post the link of the vendor i went through here but if anyone is interested i can pm it to them. Here was the price break down.

$299 each
$50 for the upgrade to the microsuade matierial (worth it, the leather looks even better)
Double locking rail driverside
$99 passangerside rail
$119 driverside rail (double locking)
(I regret not getting the subhole for the 5pt. Its a $30 upgrade per seat)

My total order was about $925 to my door. They are extremley comfy, although i want to warn you that if you have a waist over about a 36 or so you probably won't fit the standard size seat. I am not sure if the wider A4 fits in the vette. The seat sits about an inch or so lower than the stock seat on its lowest setting.

I did a little write up on corvette forum. I will dig up the link and post it here in a few for you and lionelc-5.
