You really need to try out a couple different shifters to see what you like. I liked the Hurst, but everyone has their own taste.

I just received my Hurst yesterday. With the different springs that come with it you have a lot of options to fit your taste. I've heard plenty of good things on the Hurst so I went with it.

I'm using the B&M ripper shifter...it's been in the car almost three years now and I'm happy with it. It's a bit notchy, but the shifts are very precise. I haven't tried any other after market shifter to compare it with.

I have the B&M Ripper it is really stiff but I is a really good race shifter. Daily driving on it though can be a little aggrevating especially using 5, 6, and Reverse. When its time to get on it though you won't have any regrets.

I personally don't like the taller stick of the Hurst. Then I tried the Kirban...really nice but I want more notchiness so I went with the B&M. I love it. Short throw, notchy, great feedback, precise shifts....really nice!!

I have the B&M Precision shifter. It is notcy, but that is due to the bolt in the transmission. I like the way it shift compared to the stock unit.

Another ripper here I have had it for a year now and love it. Like said above a bit notchy but very precise. I daily drive mine and have zero issues with it, its way shorter than the stocker.

There it is,...If you can read the directions DO the adjustments then try it out, then do whatever adjustments to perfect your shift & Lock-tight! you will have the, for you, most perfect shift as the Hearst has more adjustments than any of the three "other" shifters that I tried! oh, ya and I have the Black "anodised" Pistol grip and I just ******* dig it the most!

I just bought a BPP shifter for the Z06. Have ot had a chance to put it in yet, way too cold. Although I have read up on it and many people are very happy with it. I like it because of the adjustments of the position of the handle.
