new and have questions

Im new to the whol corvette scene so i have a quick question.. the rear glass on like the 02 z06 is less slanted and shorter than ive seen on other vettes.. is that a difference in years, models (couple, z06), or in generations (c4,c5)?? i like the look of the slanted and longer rear glass than i do of the shorter and more vertical one.. i tried posting a picture with no luck, ill see if i can find a link and post it.. hopefully you guys know what im talking about.. thanks a lot for any insight you wish to give

All of the C5 Z06 have the shorter glass, and the regular C5's have the hatch unless they have the Z51 package. The Z06 has a trunk and the C5's have a hatch.

The difference is the coupe has the slanted glass(hatch) the Z06 and FRC has the straight glass and trunk. Z51 has nothing to do with it.

and the FRC/Z06 short glass looks ****! and is stronger. IMO i like the look better than the hatch

Too my knowledge the Z51 is the FRC. It's just GM's code for the had top. I could be wrong....I remember it from when I was buying mine. All the hartop cars I had were advertised as Z51...so I just put the two together.
