Default FRC or Targa....pLeAsE rEaD!! BAHHH

alright i sold the ws6 and bought a 98 targa top vette and im considering selling it to get a FRC because i really like the looks of them sooo much more than my 'hatch', but is there a corner i could cut instead of going through the madness in looking for one i like? i was wondering if there is any way you can get a rear window from a FRC and the trunk lid and do something with the rest of the car to give it the 'short window FRC look?' i know you just can get some sweet duct tape and elmers glue a poof you have a nice small rear window and you still have your removable top...has anyone seen someone do something like this or not...i figured i would go to you guys and ask away. PLEASE help this kid out!!!!!

Ummm... go find a new car. Here is a link that will cut your looking down to a minimum:

www.Corvettepalace.com

If he doesnt have an FRC on the site, just call. He will have one!

I doubt you could do it, but never say never. Most of the body panels on the vette are completely removable, and you'd just have to find out if they interchange.

Like said above though, a new car would be much easier.

I feel your pain....Im playing with the idea of doing the same thing..and Im torn between the removable top ( Ive got T-Tops now and SoCal...their great!) but Id kill for a Z06..which is the same body as the FRC.....

But Im not going to buy until Ive decided! My other bug is why are all the vettes automatics....its seems really hard to find a manual....

I think..you should keep this car do some minor mods and flip it and get what you want. Hacking these cars up just ruins their resale price

I have an FRC and a Z06 and when I was thinking of getting a vette I refused to buy anything besides a hardtop FRC Z06 style. If you have enough money I would get ahold of a very good body shop and see what they say.
