My next door neighbor recently got a c6 zo6. I haven't yet thoroughly read the owners manual, but is there a simple way to disable the tire pressure monitoring system? The "correct tire pressure" just isn't compatible with drag radials.

There is no 'simple' way. The easy way is to just remove them alltogether. It should be fine with just a couple resets for traction control.

You will probably have to get the DTC disabled with a tuner because I believe it will throw a code for not having them. I know when I bought the wheels for my denali the tire shop didn't put the sensor in one of the wheels and it threw a code. Not sure about the c6's though.
