bought a c5:) so it took me a long time and some money but i finally bought one.
its a 99 auto vert. i know its not the best for performance. being and auto and a heavy conv. but i like it alot. its a one owner and it only has 29k miles on it.
the previous owner took very good care of it.
so i have some questions, is there anything i need to look out for on this thing. im very fimilar with fbodys, but not so much with the Y's. my father owns a 04 z06 but it doesnt have alot of miles on it, so i havent seen any problems jump up yet.any advice would be greatly app.

Congrats..Im a new owner too....
A 99 with 29 is a real find..and as for performance..its just like the LS1 we're all used to....HP is easy...getting in thecar is the hard part

New C5 owner too I've only had mine for 3 weeks and absolutely dig it! Looked at C6, but would have had to give up my truck and couldn't do that as all you can haul in the Vette is a couple of 6inch sub sandwiches.
