poll FI choices Just a silly question, but what would you guys think about this scenario,
383 forged with either a
ECS Novi 2k kit
A and A Vortech T trim kit
STS with upgraded turbos and a FMIC
keep in mind that price is an important factor and this for right now is speculation, as I wont have the cash untill spring of 08

Or.... for similar $ you can have a built 427/etc and not have the hassles of FI
FI gets expensive real quick. Beyond the install the needs are never satisfied.
Been there done that. (Incon Twin Turbo) My next big horsepower binge will probably be mega-cubes.

im no pro... but i dont think a 402 will be much more than a 383 right now...
call A&A for prices....
but a well forged 402 with good heads and blower can should run around $8+
then A&A's blower kit with upgraded blower...... $7K+
upgraded fuel system....(BAP, fuel lines, inline/intake pumps) .... $1K+
and a speed density tune should run around .....$750-1K+
then you should/could see around 650-700+rwhp....
then you need drivetrain upgrades...
-built trans...
-dual clutch...
-out put shafts
-built diff....
around $5-6K+ there....
so for around $20K you should see 700rwhp and have a car that can handle that power for a long time!

I think all of those choices are good ones, but I am biased towards blowers.
Honestly, I always think about what I will do next, but even at 550RWHP on 335/30/18 Pilot Sports, traction is an issue. Yea, there is the cool factor of having 700 RWHP, but on the street it WILL be pretty useless (mostly in town). Just my $.02.

That is why I have another car for dd... this is my weekend toy car... just for the purpose of lighting them up, going to the track and roll racing, if it was still the dd... I wouldnt want/ need that much power
