Scary Nitrous

Got my bone stock 01 Z06 on the dyno last night and I tuned it to a conservative 12.7 AFR with 23* instead of the 13.0 with 27* I had for N/A. Car made 364/361 dynojet.
Then I sprayed my 100 shot. Nitrous activates at 3200. I took it to 4500 and let off because the AFR never went below 14.0
I just dont know whats wrong. I tested the noids before installing them and Im pretty sure both are working. I also just replaced the fuel filter so I'd have zero change of a clogged filter issue.
I thought the fuel pump on this car (especially on the 01's) could easily handle a 100 shot. I guess I was wrong?
Needless to say, I guess I need to do 2 tests:
1. Spray the system with the 50 fuel jet and nitrous bottle closed and see if it goes real rich (see if the fuel noid is opening)
2. If that works, get a fuel pressure gauge to see if im getting a huge FP drop.
Then I sprayed my 100 shot. Nitrous activates at 3200. I took it to 4500 and let off because the AFR never went below 14.0

having raced on n20 before, id say check the fuel pump, install a 5psi hobbs switch so if you have a drop in the fuel pressure, the n20 will shut off preventing melted paperweights. ive got some of those. you could do what you suggested and run the fuel solenoid only, i would definately get a fp guage. also make sure you reduce your spark plug gap to maybe 35 for better results. try it on a dyno.

What he said.My stock 01 fuel pump held up to a heads/cam setup and a 100hp shot with no problems. Also did you ride it out a little longer or kill it right away?

If it is my pump, I believe my car is an exception. In a way I am hoping it is the fuel noid....that will be a lot easier to fix.
Either way I do need to get a FP Gauge. I will come back to this thread once I have solved it.
