baseline dyno?
baseline dyno? putting the car on the dyno 2morrow afternoon..--a friend of mine seen a 01 dyno 330 rwhp--stock --- is that about right ? for this car... i will give the car a tune up ( oil , plugs -ect...) before the run.. all i have done is the slp intake and the magnaflow catback...
i hope thats worth like 20hp.. just hoping for 350..

Good luck hittin 350 with so few mods but it's possible. I baselined 318hp/340tq. Tuned it with cutouts closed and made 349hp/362tq. I'm pretty much full bolt on except for underdrive pulley and electric water pump.
ok- well -- first off-- i was not able to change my spark plugs- oil -fuel filter ect... i drove for 30 mins.. got there and straped her down...oh i stoped at this shitty gas station ( i was on E) ( i had no other choice)-- and filled up - 93 -- of course. but i think it was shitty gas--- because we heard pinging.. on like 2 runs...

ok... well this graph is the 2nd run.... it acually made 360hp and 350tq on the third run .. ( i had a dirty air filter and we let it cool down to 196 degress - instead of 220..i just unhooked the filter.... and a few extra ponies were able to come out......
but this car has no tune-- just the filter and catback... and it needs a tune up...

but as we speak.. i got a set of ls6 heads at work -- that i already got cracking on-- mark my word -- there going to flow---like 350 at .590..... and with the cam i getting... i think its going to be close to 500 -- when its all said and done...
gona get that new typhoone intake ( the 96 mm one..)..
well .. i can sleep happy now

the basic bolt ons... heads cam .. and go fast juice..///------------------already got a set of ls6 heads at work that im porting...//.. -- and when this ported head and cam motor takes a stroll down the blown up highway... she will be getting aL92 stroker/..
There was an '02 hatch model on the dyno a few weeks back with full exhaust and a blackwing (same mods as me) and the tuner threw in 2* of timing before the first pull and he made 377rwhp and 390 lbs of tq. I was really impressed. Thats was without any fuel adjustments also. I didnt stick around to see the final numbers... but im hoping he made it to 400 or closer to it.

just for kicks, my dyno sheet is in my sig. bone stock '06 MZ6 C6.
the day I had this done was dyno day at LGMotorsports in Wylie, TX., last year in May.
there was an '01 stock Z06 there that day that put down 330 rwhp. that was the one badged 385 hp, so I'm guessing the later models would naturally dyno a little more...........

i ask him that question everyday day -- when i get to work... and i park my car sometimes outside his bay-- .. ( thats where he used to park the stromtrooper mobile- and i know it hurts him to look over that and see my car -- in that spot...
and every day.. i have offered to help -- and yes... that beast will be back out on the street soon, and will be a totally different car--- - well you will all see when its done..
and hopefully i will have the H/c and a little go fast juice .. because -- im going to need it.....

Hey bro.
Been kinda on the busy side, to be honest. DOing multiple things at work, has left me little time for my own vehicle, as it is still sitting, in my garage at home, how I left it after the head removal. I have since then, decided the route that I am going to take, and soon, i'd say, within a month(i'm going to the gator nationals this weekend, installing a blower on someone elses car the following weekend) i'll be finally starting the install on my own ride.
Soo....hopefully, if I can get all my parts back in time, i'll be rocking and rolling in a month, or soo.
