I just finished registering for it. Anyone else planning on going? They're having having some sort of Viper shoot out @ the event as well. I'm thinking a top speed event w/o the fear of going to jail for the rest of your adult life sounds like the most fun you could have with your clothes on!

 

Is it the race in texas?? If so you better have a roll cage!They told albert last year he had to have a better cage if he wanted to run faster than 190 mph..

 

You have to have a 4 point roll bar @ 190mph. Their requirements are less strict than NHRA. It'll take a power adder car to break 190 in the standing mile if it's anything resembling a street car. There were some H/C cars with gas last year that were running 180 +. Something different, why not!

Load up the trucks & trailers & make a trip down. The organizers say that people come from all over to this event. Supposedly lots of tuner cars & mag coverage. We need a good showing of LSX bretheren to show those Viper boys that they're not the only brusiers in the land!
