Im on the fence about this black panel along the bottom.
Does anyone have any close up shots?

I have a great paint/body guy that does these for my clients just a few doors down from my shop. This guy does awesome work and through me it's only $250 for the job.

This one below he just did for us for the Fort Worth Rod & Custom show and you can't even feel a line where the black ends and the silver begins. Relly nice work. Just let me know if you want to setup a time to drop off the vette to get it done.

had mine painted for 150.00....dupont black 3 coats of clear....very easy to do....

From the ones I have seen I think the painted on looks better than the plastic stick on piece. Make sure you get some pics when you do that mod.

My buddy has one on his white vette and it looks really good. I think he is going to sell the vette and is in the process of demodding. I need to ask him if he is going to sell the vette since he just had kid #3. He is on the corvette forum.

They used to sell that thing on pfyc, but not any more. I tracked down the guy who had the mold made originally, he made me one for about 150. I putit on myself and did an absolutely **** job. Going to pull it off and just have that area painted.

Dupli-Color makes temporary paints in black. You could tape it up yourself and see how it looks before you commit to a complete paint job. Here is the link to a couple:
