Are you looking for something like the Halltech Ram Air Tunnel Port? I know Lg Motorsports sells them. There may be some other sponsors that carry them too.

You could also make your own if you wanted to cut up your front license plate cover or but a damaged one as a spare for cheap and modify it.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Any idea on where to get the same mesh as the Z06 fog light grills?

Thanks! Any idea what grade stainless is the best choice? Also, any idea what mesh the Z06 fog lamps have so I can match it?

I'm feeling poor with my recent mods! Slush fund is empty and I still need the clutch. A picture won't really tell me the mesh size so I guess I'll just have to order the other screens ahead of time and measure them up when they come in.

Im considering taking the plastic piece out and cutting the ugly piece that remains with a drimel. Has anyone done this?

That's what I did for the track. I have to run a plate up front in MA so I just pull it off for the track. Be careful though because of the wiring behind it. You'll need to unhook a clip to lower the wire out of the way before cutting it all. I started by cutting a small hole in the middle with the bit set really shallow. That's when I saw the wire and was glad that I kept it shallow. Then you can just cut it open as much as you want with the wire out of the way. Good luck!

You can see it in my sig. It looks like crap with the plate removed but it's functional with the Blackwing and fine for the track. I don't have any close ups. I'm planning on leaving the front plate off and using the Z06 mesh to disguise it with a high quality brushed SS plate frame or one of those painted smoothies. I think it'll look pretty sharp along with the Z06 fog light grills. Then I'll just hope I don't get pulled over for not having the front plate on. I drove my TA for 4 years before I was called out on it.

They are actually every easy to make. I bought some of the screen material from MasterCraft. With about 3 hours of work with a dremel tool, I cut out a section of the front plate, glued the material to the back remaining portion, and then opened up the section of the front facsia. I think I have about $20 in material and three hours of labor.

Here's the Ultra low budget version $12

This was a test plate I am going to change it up a bit, likely go to a Bowtie cutout since behind the pate the opening is more or less shaped like that on top. Then match the Screen.

Here's what your looking at behind the plate

I have since dremeled it to a more appealing look.

Some good pics right there! If you open it up that much I'm not sure you'll gain that much more with the foam and brackets behind there unless you want to start messing with that as well. It'll also be tough to secure the wire mesh I'd think. I just ordered a piece of mesh 6" x 12" and the Z06 fog light mesh pieces. Should look pretty good.

I am going to cut one shaped like a bowtie when I get home end of April, and put COLD BEER CUTOUT on the next one LOL.

If someone provides me with the screen, I will provide them with a plate
