2004 Z06 question.
There is a local Black/Mod Red 2004 Z06, 17k miles, Haltech trap, BBK TB, Kooks long tubes w/ cats, Borla Stingers, 1.8 rockers, New Toyo Proxes T1R all the way around, and the GM extended warranty until '09 or 60k miles. All documentation including the window sticker and all oil changes.
What type of price range should I be looking at for this car?

what kind of condition?
from a dealer or a private party?
Typically bolt-ons dont add much if any to the value.
The warranty is probably voided since it has been modded.

The warranty will still be fine. It is against federal law under the Magnuson/Moss warranty act to decline or invalidate a warranty based on if a car has mods on it. Unless the modified part actually caused the failure of the part.
Ie you can void the tranny warranty because you put a K&N in the airbox. But if you add headers and the motor leans out and burns a piston or if you add nitrous and you blow the motor they can void the motor warranty but not the brake or interior warranty.

with mods does that mean its 17k of hard driving or pleasure driving. If you buy it with mods then you won't have any fun looking on here for them. Good luck. Look on the autotrader and stuff to see what others in that year and miles value at. I agree mods can scare people away.

major mods always scare me as well, as it USUALLY means that someone was wanting to push it harder...(kind of like us ) There are plenty out there that remained stock, which doesn't necessarily mean that is wasn't driven hard, but I would take it as it probably wasn't pushed as hard as the ones that have been modded heavily. Just my opinion. Good luck with the purchase!
