I was going to ask what the yellow rope was supposed to do but then I noticed it was tied to the mirror so it obviously is there for decoration.

rope was tied on by a diver to help locate it again when he came back with the hook. Look at the windshield glass, was totally underwater before, at a guess they towed it halfway out and then took the picture, note the chain on the passenger rear side. The window was likely busted out by the diver to ensure that either nobody was in there, or to recover a body. Hopefully the former.

When I got my C5, the e-brake didn't work very well. Looks like it rolled right down a boat launch ramp. Makes me glad that I have full coverage, and a working e-brake. Yeesh.
