Have you tried a lower thermostat or programming your fans to kick on earlier? Also water wetter is good. These are all ways of maybe saving you some $ and doing the job.

DeWitt makes a great replacement radiator for the C5.

G2 supercool radiator by LG Motorsports. It features a built in oil cooler, very good bonus. I have it on my car and love it. As far as getting a stat and reprogramming the fans that will help greatly. If you require additional cooling capacity get the G2 supercool radiator. I rarely see my coolant temps get above 167-171 degrees. Even when racing. I do see them get as high as 199 degrees when stuck in bumper to bumper traffic with temps in the high 90's low 100's. Thats only because there isn't any air flowing over the radiator. As soon as I get moving it drops back into the 160's.

That was my suggestion as well. They make some great stuff over there and Tom is good to deal with.

Unless you have significant engine mods you probably don’t need one. I’d try a 160 thermostat and changing the fan settings first. I have heads, cam, headers, 11.4:1 compression, etc and my car runs nice and cool (178-180) with the stock radiator.

There is also BeCool and Ron Davis. Both are very good along with the LG and DeWitt ones.

I have a Dewitts for sale that will fit a '97-'00 A4 without oil cooler. It is less than a year old, has 3K miles on it and is located at The Vette Doctors in Amityville, NY for pickup. I paid $620 when new and I am willing to let it go for $350.

If you are willing to ship, let me know. I am very interested.
