bracket is the same for both, the d and p head units are the same, just interal differences.
you may want to look into changing the brackets for other reasons though (belt slip, etc.) depending on what brackets you curently have.

Yes, you can upgrade the head-unit from a P-1SC to a D-1SC for a little north of $1,000. The problem is that if you're going forged and intend on running a smaller pulley and making some real power you'll probably want to step up to an 8 Rib belt assembly and possibly more efficient intercoolers, depending on what you already have.

I take ityour speaking about the stock TWIN intercoolers offered by procharger.
I have logged my IAT's, and I gotta say, I have no need to change them at the moment. I understand, more boost, more heat. Which brings me to the question, at what boost levels, are the TWINS efficent up to?
Cause, really, I was, dead set on doing a single front mount(which I will no matter what down the road) right away but, after logging with my predator,..these things were pretty good.
Thanks, J

My twin intercoolers were useless with a 4.25 pulled on a D1, stock heads/cam, forged bottom end. They heatsoaked very quickly and you could feel the car fall on its face in fourth gear after running it up a few times.
You need a front mount with a good amount of distance between the IC and the Rad, and a halltec nosepiece. And you need an 8 rib if youre going to push it.
