Default Torque Tube 0, SideStep 1

It was a real fight to get the Torque Tube out and the snap-ring is almost dangerous, but I won!!!

I am replacing MANY things before I install the supercharger and the TT bushings were on the list for this weekend.... Now for the sad news... The factory ones look perfect:crazy:   Oh well, it was a character building experience

You know why it looks so good right ??? Read where its made (Made in Germany) LOL.

Are you going to upgrade the one end of your drive shaft now with a drive shaft power coupler ?? I think its made of Billet Aluminum. LG Motorsports sells them and I added one when I had them put in the Carbon Fiber Driveshaft. Good luck with your project. BTW glad to hear that it is Torque Tube 0 and SideStep 1 and not the other way around.

Since the TT is out, how does your clutch and flywheel look ?? Do what you can before you put it back together. Again good luck with your project and let us know how it turned out.

Looks like it went fairly uneventful. I'm just finishing up Motor, trans, diff rebuild, and clutch swap all on jack stands Kinda sucks when doing it yourself

good thing you are replacing the bushings now while everything is apart. I've had my driveline out four times so far this year and its going to be a fifth this weekend because my bushings are shot.

any tips on removing the TT? I saw you said the snap-ring was dangerious...

It is just VERY strong!!!

I used these from Harbor Freight... it was still a pain getting it out.

At least now you know how to do it. With the SC installed you will have to do it again at some point in time.

That snap ring is a major pain, removing and re-installing. Other than that is is a breeze.
