buy one of the top brands imo. kooks, american, lg etc. the texas speed are a good buy but you will not gain as much as you could if you buy one of the top brands. personally i have kooks 1 7/8

Dont buy the TSP headers for a z06. Mine rattle like crazy on the bellhousing, and even hit on the steering arm under the hood. I sent them several emails and pm's with no reply. They are the cheapest of c5 headers, but I think the LG's look much better and wish I had not gone the cheap way now.

I have American Racing....don't think you can go wrong with any of the major brands. Install can be a little easier with some though. Do a little homework! Lot's of info on the corvette forum.

How's that? I run them and installed them. Perfect fit, look as good as the day I bought them, and half the cost of other headers. I don't know why everyone on this board has issues with them. I wouldn't hesitate to put these on again.

$750 is cheap? Any other vehicle and 750 would be outragous. I think you get what you pay for, a well made set of ceramic coated headers with full length primaries. I honestly can't believe I'm the only person who has had excellent luck with these. I also call BS on the bad customer service. Half this board pimps TSP for how great their products and customer service are.

Compared to those yes, I agree. How much are you willing to spend to pick up about 30 RWHP though? Is $1800 bucks worth it for 30? Is 750 worth it? If you want cheap check out the fleabay headers for about 400. Guys on corvette forum worked with the company to eliminate fitment issues that were happening. I would have tried these but stopped short when I saw 'Made in China'.

kooks are nice headers. I had the 1 7/8 but they were difficult to install. Motor had to be raised several inches and the flange didnt line up with the head bolts
