will this pass smog cam is a 227/236 .600/.600 114LSA will it idle close to stock?
LS2 block
Callies rods
Wiseco pistons (right around -28cc dish)
Callies crank (no need for a HIGH DOLLAR crank)
AFR 225 64cc heads (or something with a THICK deck)
8.9-9.0:1cr

LS6 lifters

Cometic .051 MLS gaskets
ECS 8" crank pulley
ARP main and rod studs
ARP head studs (Unless stock deck. Then ARP L19 studs)

The thing that most affects emissions is the LSA of the cam followed closely by the duration amounts. That is a pretty big cam for a 360 CID motor. As long as you have a good set of cats on it, it can be tuned to pass. Plus there are little tricks that can help if you are close. A bottle of rubbing alcohol in the gas might help

well it really depends on what your state does for OBD2 emissions. Illinois just checks the gas cap and then plugs a computer in the car and runs the emmsions and checks for codes. As long as the Check engine light is not on, you are good. My buddy passed with a 01 WS6 with a G5x3 cam and no cats on it. I passed with just lt's , no cats without it being tuned and passed. It stunk up the bay area but nobody really cares there. What do you expect when you have people getting paid minimum wage for the state???? LOL!!!
