ss vs z06
my buddies dad wants to run my 2000 ss m6 i only have a catback and air lid with a k and n filter he has a 02-04 z06 with full exhaust drag radials with a fast intake and 4.10 gears i know he is gonna smoke me i am just wondering how bad! What would he run in a quarter mile with that set up and what speed will he trap?

He will be pretty deep into the 11s dude. He will beat you by well over a second in the 1/4 mile and if you race farther than that it will only get worse. If I had to guess he would trap around 120 give or take a few MPH.
It sounds like its all in good fun though...let us know how it goes, there is no shame in getting your *** kicked by a car like that.

Only Mods are a B&M Ripper shifter and !CAGS.
Read much? Chevrolet's own factory number is 12.4 @ 116 for a 405 C5 Z06.

02-04 Zo6 + 4.10 gears/full exhaust/fast intake/tune + drag radial = *** whooping for you. 4.10 gears are nasty enough, let alone paired with a modded engine and drag radials. He's going to cream you from a dig. You may have a chance if you start at a mph that is bad for him. Doubt it but good luck.

I would say if he heats up the drag radials and gets a really good hook out of the hole. He will be low to mid 11's for sure. I say between a 11.3-11.6 for sure, with mph 120-122mph. Really depends on he runs the car, and if he beats the **** out of it to get those times.
btw just make sure you guys give some time before you run again, let the clutch cool down. Will be fun no matter what. Post up what you guys run.
