Default Ran my 04 Z06 at the track

Pulled off a 12.67 @ 112.87 on Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars with a 2.028 60ft on a humid night around 85 degrees. Would like opinions, my car is bone stock and I just wanted to see if I was getting good times. I just want to learn how to actually drive my car before I start to mod it. I was slipping the clutch around 2800RPM's and when it inched out I would drop it and pedal it, then powershift through the gears. Any better ways of going about it on streets? I think the car had alot more in it.

Thanks.

Your doing fine. With good weather and some practice you'll be down in the low 12's.

-Try coming out a little hotter and being smooth without pedalling it and just a slow squeeze to the floor.

-On the 1-2 try shifting a little slower(no powershift) to avoid excess wheelspin or wheelhop

-Try doing a burnout and lowering the tire pressure 24-26ps

-Try shallow staging, just tripping the 2nd bulb

-Try staying behind a few cars with slicks and line up in their tracks.

-Try running with a 1/8 tank of gas for your last few runs.

I just gave you a half a second of info. Go get'em bro.
